No one wants to live with teeth they’re not proud of.

A small chip, stain or crack can be resolved with beautifully made veneers, which fit over the top of a tooth that needs a little cosmetic TLC.

When is a veneer recommended?

  • If you have individually stained teeth.
  • If you have small gaps between your teeth.
  • If your teeth are chipped or cracked.
  • If you are looking for a longer-term solution than composite bonding.

How we can help

Step 1) Local anaesthetic

Your tooth is numbed to stop you from feeling anything whilst we prepare your tooth for the custom veneer.

Step 2) Preparation

Your tooth is shaved down so that the veneer is the right thickness once it’s placed over the surface.

Step 3) Creating your veneer

Your veneer is made by our dental technician, who uses moulds of your teeth to recreate an accurate-looking tooth that will fit seamlessly in with the anatomy of your smile.

Step 4) Your new veneer

Your veneer can be fitted to your tooth with a strong adhesive substance.

FAQs

What are the advantages of choosing a veneer to restore my smile?

Veneers are a premium solution for fixing unsightly teeth. Whilst options such as composite bonding are less invasive (there’s no need to remove any of your natural tooth structure), veneers last for much longer and produce a result virtually identical to a real tooth.

Do I need a crown or a veneer?

Both crowns and veneers do a fantastic job of restoring the aesthetic of individual teeth. However, in cases where the damage is more than just superficial, a crown is needed to cover the entirety of the tooth, protecting it from further damage or decay. Meanwhile, veneers fit only over the front surface of a tooth.

How many appointments does it take to get a veneer?

Veneers take a minimum of 2 appointments to plan, create and place.

How long does a veneer last?

Veneers can last for more than 10 years, as long as you avoid biting on foreign objects (ice will damage a veneer!) and commit to looking after them with good brushing and flossing. Whilst it’s true veneers are incredibly stain resistant, tooth-staining food and drink will eventually begin to alter their shade.
